There is an article on the The New York Times > Magazine > Build a Bear stores in the mall in the New York Times Sunday Magazine.
Does anyone else find the animal shells a little disturbing. it seems to me like the opposite of a hunter. Hunter shoots animal, and then gets a bear skin rug out of the deal. Build a Bear person, takes bear skin rug and fills it with stuff.
Scary don't you think.

Personally, my favorite part is seeing all the empty shells of bears in the pre-stuffed stage. Heebiejeebie city, man.
